VIN Removal Service
A VIN removal service does one specific thing: it deletes the pages that republished your vehicle's auction record — the photographs, the lot detail and the final bid — from the sites hosting them, and then clears those pages out of search. This page explains what that costs, how long it takes, and where the boundaries are.
What you are buying
Not a subscription, not a monitoring product and not a report. A removal is a one-off piece of work against a specific list of sites: each record is deleted at the source, and the de-index request follows once the page is gone. You pay per site, for the sites your car is actually on.
What it costs, and why prices differ
Individual site removals run from roughly $30 to $75. That spread is not a pricing strategy — it reflects what each one costs to have done, which varies by an order of magnitude and depends largely on who controls the site rather than on any technical difficulty.
| Site | From | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| BidFax | $29.98 | 12–24 hours |
| Stat.vin | $75 | 24–36 hours |
| Bid.cars | $60 | 24–36 hours |
| PLC.UA | $70 | 24–48 hours |
| AutoAuctionHistory | $49.99 | 12–36 hours |
| Carfast.express | $49.99 | 12–36 hours |
| Carsbidshistory | $60 | 12–36 hours |
| Cleanautohistory | $60 | 24–36 hours |
| Carcheck.by | $50 | 24–48 hours |
Why coverage decides the outcome
A car is rarely on one site. The same auction lot is mirrored across a US-facing site, an export-market site and often a regional one publishing in a language the owner does not read. Removing one of those changes which page a VIN search returns, not whether it returns one. This is the single most common way money gets wasted here.
The order of operations
- Scan the VIN and get the real list of sites holding a record.
- Choose which of them are worth clearing — you do not have to take all of them.
- The records are deleted at the source, site by site.
- The de-index requests go in once each page is actually gone.
- Search results clear over the following one to two days.
What this does not touch
Only third-party listings — pages a commercial website built by republishing the auction feed, including the owner’s photographs — are removed. Official records are never accessed, altered or influenced: Carfax, AutoCheck, the federal NMVTIS database, state DMV title records and insurance records stay exactly as they are.
Talk to a person first if you want to
Plenty of people would rather ask before paying, especially when the scan comes back with six sites on it. Send the VIN on WhatsApp at +1 (332) 248-3879 and you will get a straight answer about what is out there and what it would cost.

Frequently asked questions
How much does VIN removal cost? +
It depends on which sites are holding the record — they range from around $30 to $75 each, because what it costs to get each one done differs enormously. You pay for the sites your car is actually on, in one checkout rather than one order per site.
How long does it take? +
Most removals complete within 12 to 36 hours. Search results clear one to two days after the page itself comes down. A multi-site order finishes when its slowest site does.
Is it permanent? +
On a source removal, yes — the page is deleted, so there is nothing left to re-index. A search-level-only removal is a weaker outcome, and you are told before paying if a particular site falls into that category.
What do you need from me? +
The VIN. No documents, no proof of ownership, no account.
Do you change Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS? +
No, and nobody can. Those are official reporting systems and databases maintained by other organisations. Only republished third-party listings are removed.
Can I talk to someone before ordering? +
Yes — WhatsApp +1 (332) 248-3879. Send the VIN and you will get a straight answer about what is out there and what it would cost, before any payment.
